Pack 565 Fall Overnight at the Zoo

posted Oct 11, 2011, 6:33 AM by   [ updated Nov 30, 2011, 7:25 AM ]

The Pack 565 Fall Overnight event will be an overnight campout inside the Lied Jungle at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo!  We will have special access to the zoo after the zoo is closed for the night.  We’ll go on a night hike.  We’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at several zoo exhibits, learn fun facts, get up close and personal with wild animals, then we will pitch tents on the elevated walkways inside the Jungle exhibit and sleep overnight amongst the animals!

The Pack 565 Fall Overnight event at the zoo is Friday night, November 4, through Saturday morning, November 5.  Cost is $30 per person.  Scouts are free (Scout registration will be paid by pack 565 out of funds raised at the Mid-America Pinewood Derby last spring)  Siblings are welcome.  Scouts and siblings must be accompanied by an adult family member.

If you were planning to attend University of Scouting on November 5, please note that we will be done at the zoo plenty early on Saturday morning for you to make it to University of Scouting.
